Who do you work with?

Sexual wellness is for everyone.

We provide a safe, inclusive, trauma-informed and judgement-free space for people of all ages, genders, sexualities, relationship structures and identities.

Our practitioners are LGBTQIA+ inclusive and welcome individuals and couples across all stages of life.

What is a Somatic Sexologist?

A Sexologist is somebody who has studied the science of sex; learning the anatomy, physiology, psychology, and cultural influences around sex, arousal, desire and pleasure.

Somatics is any practice that develops and strengthens the mind-body connection. Somatic practices teach you how to mindfully scan and listen to your body.

Somatic sexology brings these together to help people get out of their heads and into their bodies for better sex. Meet the team here to see a full list of their qualifications and experience.

Why do you care about sexual wellness?

Sexual wellness isn’t the only thing we do, but it’s an important part of the equation. This is because it’s so regularly left out of the health and wellness conversation.

Sadly, we still live in a conservative society where sexual shame and body shame is pervasive and very few people get access to quality sex education or sexual wellness services.

This leads to a society with high rates of loneliness, sexual dissatisfaction, disembodiment, divorce, sexual violence, trauma, and sexual abuse.

Quality sexual wellness and sex & relationship education makes happier, healthier and safer people – this is one way we can help make the world a better place.

Do you work with people online and in person?

Yes!

Sessions are available online or in person at our Sydney clinic, depending on the practitioner and appointment time.

You're welcome to discuss the approach that works best for you when booking a session with the Bedrock team.

Are you open to media opportunities?

Yes!

Our founder and somatic sexologist, Alice Child, speaks and writes on sex, intimacy and relationships, with extensive media experience across podcasts, radio, tv, print, speaking engagements, course creation and university sex education. See her media experience here.

For enquiries, get in touch via our contact page.

Are there career opportunities with Bedrock?

Yes.  Bedrock is a growing clinic, and new opportunities regularly arise.

We welcome enquiries for roles and internships. We're always keen to hear from experienced, sex-positive, trauma-informed practitioners, including sexologists, therapists, counsellors, pelvic health specialists, bodyworkers and allied health professionals.

Get in touch for career enquiries. We are always looking for great sex positive and trauma-informed practitioners with experience. Including:

- Pelvic floor physiotherapists

- Sex therapists and psychologists

- Counsellors and sex counsellors

- Relationship counsellors and couples therapists

- Sexologists and somatic sexologists

- Naturopaths

- Trauma-informed massage therapists

- Sexual health and womens health specialists or general practicitions with these interests

How do I get started?

Book in a free 15-minute consultation so we can hear a little more about you, what you’re looking for, answer any questions you may have, and find the right practitioner for you.

You can also book an introductory 90-minute session. This gives you the chance to try a session before committing to a full program.

After your first session and intake form, we’ll send you a proposed program or mini-program outline free of charge. There’s no obligation to continue if you change your mind.

What does sex therapy involve?

Sex therapy and somatic sex counselling provide an expert-led, judgement-free space to explore sex, relationships and pleasure.

We combine mindfulness, education and counselling techniques to help you move out of your head and into your body. Sessions include practical tools, exercises and language to support your goals — whatever they may be.

All sessions are 100% client-led and tailored to your specific desires and outcomes. There are no cookie-cutter programs. Every practitioner brings their own training, specialties and approach. Book a free call to find the right fit for you.

What are the benefits?

The benefits of sex education, sex counselling and couples sex therapy are diverse and can include:

  • Overcoming sexual concerns (performance anxiety, erectile difficulty, painful sex, premature ejaculation, low or mismatched libido)
  • Stronger, more connected relationships
  • More reliable and satisfying orgasms
  • Better communication in and outside the bedroom
  • Increased self-confidence and sexual confidence
  • Overcoming sexual shame
  • Greater body awareness and ownership
  • Improved access to pleasure
  • Better mental health, sleep and overall wellbeing
  • Stronger physical health markers such as blood pressure
  • Confidence in asserting sexual boundaries
Is therapy only for “issues”?

Absolutely not.

Sex therapy isn’t just for challenges or concerns. Even people who already enjoy a fulfilling sex life can benefit. When it comes to pleasure and intimacy, there is always more to discover.

An expert-led, shame-free and sex-positive environment can open the door to deeper connection, curiosity and growth. All you need is an open mind and a willingness to explore.

One session or a program?

Start with a free 15-minute consultation. This gives you the opportunity to meet a practitioner and discuss your goals.

While a 90-minute session can be valuable, meaningful and lasting change usually takes time. Sex, bodies and relationships are complex — and like any area of health, consistent support creates better results.

Most individuals and couples benefit from our bespoke 8-part program, which includes tailored worksheets, games and at-home resources. We also offer 4-part mini-programs for shorter-term goals. You can always try one session before committing.

Our aim is not to work with you forever — it’s to equip you with lifelong skills for great sex and intimacy.

What are your fees?

Fees vary depending on the service, product and practitioner.

How many sessions should I book?

Everyone’s journey is different. While some people begin with a one-off session, most find that deeper change requires ongoing support.

We generally recommend an 8-part bespoke program for individuals and couples. These programs allow space for trust, learning and meaningful progress, and include personalised resources to support you at home.

Mini 4-part programs are available for more focused goals. You can always try one session first before committing.

Alone or with a partner?

It depends on your goals.

Individual sessions allow you to focus on your own needs, desires and experiences. Many people bring what they learn into their relationships.

Couples sessions are ideal for strengthening connection, communication and sexual exploration together. Couples programs may include both joint and individual sessions.

If you’re unsure, book a free call and we’ll help you decide the best approach.

How do I tell my partner?

It’s common to feel nervous bringing this up.

Try focusing on the potential benefits or what you’re curious about, rather than what feels “wrong.” You might also share our website so they can explore it in their own time.

If you’d like support, book a free 15-minute consultation — either together or on your own — to talk it through.

How do I book?

You can book a one-off session or a program via our booking page.

How often should sessions be?

We typically recommend sessions every 2–3 weeks, depending on your goals and schedule.

Programs can be completed at your own pace, with up to six months to finish all sessions.

Does therapy involve touch?

No.

All sessions are educational and take place fully clothed. Practitioners do not touch clients.

Will there be homework?

Absolutely — although we call it homeplay.

Homeplay includes exercises, games and exploration practices to try at home, solo or with a partner. The more open and curious you are, the more benefit you’ll experience. You’ll also receive sex-positive resources tailored to your needs.

What if I’m nervous?

That’s completely normal.

Talking about sex can feel vulnerable. We move at your pace and prioritise creating a safe, supportive space. You can start with a free 15-minute consultation or try a one-off session before committing to a full program.

You might also explore our online courses and worksheets if you prefer to begin privately.

What if I need to cancel?

If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. You can move your appointment within 90 days at no extra cost.

Cancellations or reschedules within 48 hours incur the full session fee. All sessions, bundles and programs are non-refundable. Bundles must be completed within six months of the first appointment.

To reschedule, call +61 478 084 410 or email hello@bedrockclinic.com.au.

Online or in person?

Yes — we offer both online and in-person sessions, depending on availability.

You’ll be able to select your preference when booking.

How do I get started?

Begin with an initial 60-minute consultation. This includes a comprehensive health history to understand your current state of health and identify patterns or concerns. We’ll discuss your diet, lifestyle and symptoms, and create a personalised plan incorporating dietary and lifestyle changes tailored to your needs.

Where appropriate, we utilise functional testing to uncover microbial or nutritional imbalances, ensuring a targeted and evidence-informed approach.

After your initial consult, we recommend follow-up consultations (45 minutes) every 2–4 weeks. If you’d like to explore whether naturopathy is right for you first, we also offer a free 15-minute discovery call for new clients.

Who is this for?

Naturopathy is ideal for anyone experiencing low energy, digestive discomfort, low libido, stress, hormonal imbalances or simply not feeling their best. It’s particularly helpful for those who sense something is “off” but haven’t found clear answers.

Our approach focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of health concerns rather than just managing symptoms. We look deeper — exploring patterns, triggers and underlying imbalances.

We provide an inclusive, judgement-free environment for all genders, sexual orientations and identities, proudly supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals.

What does naturopathy involve?

Working with a naturopath means having a dedicated partner in your health journey. We prioritise active listening and thoughtful questioning, exploring your health history in depth to uncover meaningful insights.

We assess the timing of symptoms and explore your unique biochemistry, microbiome and hormonal health to build a comprehensive picture. From there, we develop personalised strategies using herbal and nutritional medicine alongside sustainable lifestyle changes.

When appropriate, we incorporate functional testing to guide interventions. Our goal is to create practical, achievable strategies that align with your lifestyle and support long-term, optimal health.

What are the benefits of seeing a naturopath?

Naturopathy treats the whole system, often leading to layered and meaningful improvements across your wellbeing.

You may experience:

  • Increased energy and libido
  • Improved vaginal and vulva health
  • Enhanced mental clarity
  • Better digestive comfort and regularity
  • Clearer skin
  • A more balanced mood
  • Improved hormonal regulation

Sometimes the changes are subtle yet powerful — like clearer thinking or a renewed sense of joy and vitality in daily life.

What are your fees?

Fees vary depending on the service and practitioner.

Please refer to our “Book a Session” page for a full list of consultation fees.

How many sessions should I book?

The number of consultations required varies depending on your individual health history and how long symptoms have been present. Generally, the longer an issue has existed, the more time it may take to resolve.

For meaningful and lasting change, our naturopaths prefer to work with clients for a minimum of 4–6 months. Follow-up sessions are typically 30–45 minutes and scheduled every 2–4 weeks to monitor progress and adjust your treatment plan.

We recommend booking follow-up consultations as a bundle for better value and continuity of care.

How do I book?

You can book your discovery call or initial consultation via our booking page.

How often do we do sessions?

After your initial consultation, follow-up sessions are usually scheduled every 2–4 weeks for approximately 4–6 months.

Most clients require between 4–10 sessions for sustainable results. Your naturopath will provide clearer guidance on session frequency after your first appointment.

Will you give me homework?

Yes — although we like to call it homeplay.

Your treatment plan and lifestyle adjustments are part of an ongoing, collaborative process to discover what works best for your body long term. We encourage curiosity and experimentation, helping you feel empowered rather than overwhelmed.

Our goal is for changes to feel supportive and exciting — not restrictive or daunting.

I’m curious but unsure — what if it’s not right for me?

It’s completely natural to feel uncertain about starting something new, especially when it involves discussing personal health and making changes.

Naturopathic medicine honours the body’s innate ability to heal and often takes a gentle, personalised approach. If you’re unsure, consider booking a discovery call to discuss your concerns in a safe and supportive environment.

You’re also welcome to explore our online resources to learn more before making a decision.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We require at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule an appointment. You may move your session within 90 days at no additional cost.

Cancellations or reschedules within 48 hours incur the full session fee. All sessions and bundles are non-refundable.

To reschedule, call +61 478 084 410 or email hello@bedrockclinic.com.au.

Do you offer online and in-person sessions?

Yes — sessions are available both online and in person, depending on availability.

You can select your preferred format when booking.

How do I access my prescriptions?

All treatment plans utilise an online dispensary service called Natural Script. This platform allows you to conveniently order prescribed products and have them delivered directly to your door.

Your naturopath will create an account for you using the email provided during booking. You will receive an email prompting you to reset your password and activate your account. Once set up, you can log in at any time to reorder products as recommended.

If you experience any issues accessing your account, you can contact the Natural Script team directly on 1300 882 303.

What are sex games for couples?

Sex and intimacy games are structured, guided activities designed to help couples deepen their sexual connection, confidence and chemistry. They’re not awkward icebreakers or cheesy dares — they’re intentional experiences created to bring novelty, fun and playfulness back into your relationship.

Designed by Sexologist Alice Child, these games are perfect for date nights or anytime you want to shift from routine into something more exciting. They create a safe framework for exploring new dynamics, building anticipation and strengthening emotional and physical intimacy.

Whether you’re looking to spice things up or simply reconnect, sex games for couples offer a playful way to learn more about each other — and yourselves.

Why did you create Pillow Play?

According to the Gottman Institute, 85% of couples in therapy report missing a sense of fun and playfulness in their relationship. Pillow Play was created to help couples move back toward pleasure instead of pressure in the bedroom.

Alice has been developing and refining these games for years — testing them with clients, friends and even her own partner. Drawing from extensive experience working with couples, each game is intentionally designed to remove awkwardness and reduce performance pressure.

The goal is simple: increase pleasure, confidence, novelty and connection. Pillow Play gives couples permission to experiment in a structured, supportive way — so intimacy feels exciting again.

What are the benefits of Pillow Play?

Sex and intimacy games are a powerful way to try new experiences and build skills — both inside and outside the bedroom. They open up conversations, strengthen communication and encourage curiosity about each other’s desires.

They can absolutely be used as creative foreplay ideas, but they also stand alone as meaningful connection rituals. Research shows that couples who try new activities together experience stronger bonding and increased relationship satisfaction.

Learning and experimenting as a team enhances trust, novelty and emotional closeness — all key ingredients for a thriving sex life. It’s connection, communication and chemistry rolled into one playful experience.

Are the games fun or educational?

Both — but fun always comes first.

Pillow Play is designed with pleasure and connection as the top priority. You’ll naturally build skills while playing, but the focus remains on enjoyment and playfulness rather than performance.

For those who want deeper learning, each game includes an optional sexual skill video. Think of it as “the theory behind the fun.” These videos cover essential sex education topics like giving and receiving feedback, building confidence and asking for what you want.

For example, one game helps you practise communication through a playful “Bossy Massage” format — turning a potentially awkward skill into a zero-pressure date night experience.

I’m Queer — is Pillow Play suitable for me?

Absolutely.

All Pillow Play games and activities are inclusive and suitable regardless of sex, gender identity or sexuality. The content is designed to support connection and pleasure for all relationship dynamics and expressions.

Inclusivity and representation are core values behind the creation of these games. Everyone deserves access to playful, empowering sex education and intimacy tools.

I’m nervous about trying Pillow Play — it’s new to me!

That’s completely understandable.

Pillow Play is structured across different levels, ranging from mild to more adventurous. If you’re feeling unsure, simply start at Level 1 and move at your own pace. There’s no pressure to “level up” unless you want to.

Most games can be completed fully clothed and do not need to lead to sex at all. The focus is connection and exploration, not performance.

You can also check out reviews from other couples who’ve loved the experience, or reach out directly with questions. Support is always available.

Do I have to be naked or have sex to do Pillow Play?

No.

All videos and demonstrations are educational and do not include nudity, sex or genital contact. Content may include:

  • Massage techniques demonstrated over clothing
  • Tantric-inspired exercises (over clothing)
  • Kissing, sensual and intimate touch
  • Explicit sexual language
  • Genital touch techniques demonstrated using anatomy models and diagrams

In the privacy of your own home, you can decide how explicit you’d like the games to become — or keep them completely clothed and connection-focused. They can be incredible foreplay, but they don’t have to lead to sex.

What’s included in Pillow Play?

The full three levels of Pillow Play include:

  • 18 guided intimacy games
  • Real-life online video demonstrations
  • Over 5 hours of sex education content
  • 18 worksheets and downloadable PDFs
  • Spicy date night ideas
  • Lifetime access to all materials

Everything is yours to revisit whenever you’d like — making it a long-term resource for pleasure and connection.

We already have a great sex life — should we still try it?

Yes — absolutely.

Pillow Play isn’t only for couples experiencing challenges. It’s a curated collection of new ideas, techniques and activities designed to keep intimacy evolving over time.

With 18 games ranging from playful to seriously spicy, even adventurous couples will discover something new. Novelty is one of the strongest drivers of long-term desire — and these games are built to spark exactly that.

Think of it as expanding your erotic toolkit.

I’m single — will Pillow Play be useful?

Yes.

While designed with couples in mind, Pillow Play includes over three hours of sex education and skill-building content that benefits anyone — regardless of relationship status.

Many worksheets, such as the Sexual Bucket List and Erotic Storytelling exercises, can be completed solo to help you understand your desires and boundaries more deeply. Several Level 2 games can also be adapted for solo exploration and self-pleasure practice.

Some people even practise Level 1 communication games with trusted friends or on early dates to build confidence and boundary-setting skills.

Pillow Play is ultimately about learning your erotic self — partnered or not.

How do I get started?

Start by booking a free 15-minute consultation. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions, share your goals and ensure you’re matched with the right practitioner.

You can also book an introductory 90-minute couples session to experience the work before committing to a full program. After your first session and intake form, we’ll provide a proposed couples program tailored to your needs — completely free of charge and with no obligation to continue.

This process allows you to explore your options confidently and at your own pace.

Who is couples sex and relationship therapy for?

Couples sex therapy is for any committed couple who wants to strengthen their connection, enhance intimacy or build new skills in the bedroom.

Whether you’ve been together for a few months or 50 years, every relationship can benefit from deeper communication and sex education. Programs are personalised to your experience level, desires and goals.

We provide an inclusive, judgement-free space for people of all genders, sexualities and identities. LGBTQIA+ couples, polyamorous relationships and ethically non-monogamous partnerships are all warmly welcomed.

What does couples sex therapy involve?

Couples sex therapy provides an expert-led, shame-free environment to help you build more connected, communicative and joyful intimacy.

We combine mindfulness, education and counselling techniques to support both emotional and sexual closeness. Sessions include practical tools, guided exercises and shared language to help you reach your goals.

Every session is client-led and tailored specifically to your relationship. There are no “cookie-cutter” programs because there are no “cookie-cutter” relationships. Each practitioner brings their own unique training and specialties, ensuring a personalised experience.

What are the benefits of couples sex therapy?

The benefits depend on your goals, but couples often experience:

  • Improved communication inside and outside the bedroom
  • A deeper sense of intimacy and connection
  • Greater sexual confidence and skill development
  • Support navigating libido mismatches
  • Clearer language around desire and boundaries
  • Stronger and more reliable orgasms
  • A more playful, exploratory mindset
  • Discovery of new fantasies and pleasures
  • Reduced sexual shame
  • Increased body confidence and awareness
  • Guidance exploring fantasies such as kink, BDSM or ethical non-monogamy

Healthier, happier sex lives are also associated with improved mental health, better sleep and enhanced overall wellbeing.

Is couples therapy only for couples with “issues”?

Absolutely not.

Couples therapy isn’t only for repairing problems — it’s also for growth. Even couples who feel satisfied in their relationship can benefit from expert support and deeper exploration.

A sex-positive, judgement-free space encourages curiosity, learning and new discoveries. Great relationships can always expand and evolve.

What’s included in the couples program?

Each couples program is tailored to your relationship but typically includes:

  • A free 15-minute consultation and intake form
  • A bespoke program outline based on your goals
  • 6 flexible 90-minute couples sessions
  • 2 individual 90-minute sessions (one per partner)
  • Access to games, homeplay and educational videos
  • Ongoing practitioner support during the program
  • Lifetime access to program content

The structure is designed to support both joint growth and individual reflection, creating lasting change beyond the program itself.

What are your fees?

Fees vary depending on the service and practitioner.

Please refer to our “Book a Session” page for a full list of consultation fees.

How many sessions should we book?

Begin with a free 15-minute consultation to explore your goals.

For most couples, we recommend an 8-session bespoke program. This allows time to build trust, develop new skills and create sustainable change. Programs include tailored worksheets, games and at-home resources to reinforce your progress.

You can always try one session first before committing. Our aim is to equip you with lifelong tools — not to keep you in therapy indefinitely.

Is it better to come alone or together?

It depends on your goals.

Individual sessions allow you to focus on your own experiences, desires and personal growth. Couples sessions focus on shared communication, intimacy and connection.

Couples programs include both joint sessions and one individual session per partner, offering a balanced approach. If you’re unsure, book a free call and we’ll help determine what suits you best.

I want to start but don’t know how to tell my partner

This is very common.

Try framing the conversation around curiosity, growth and potential benefits rather than focusing on what feels “wrong.” Sharing the website can also give your partner time to explore privately.

You’re welcome to book a free consultation — together or solo — to discuss how to approach the conversation. You might also consider starting with our online course, Pillow Play, which offers playful and educational intimacy games as a gentle entry point.

How do I book?

You can book your introductory call, a one-off session or enrol in a full program via our booking page.

Does sex therapy involve touch, nudity or sex?

No.

All sessions are educational, take place fully clothed and do not involve practitioner touch.

Will you give us homework?

Yes — although we call it homeplay.

Homeplay includes exercises, games and guided activities to try at home. Approached with curiosity and playfulness, these practices deepen connection and reinforce learning between sessions.

You’ll also receive additional sex-positive resources tailored to your goals.

I’m nervous — what if it’s not right for us?

Feeling nervous is completely normal.

We prioritise safety, comfort and pacing sessions according to what feels right for you both. You can begin with a free consultation or try a one-off session before committing to a program.

If you prefer a lighter starting point, our online course Pillow Play offers fun, structured intimacy games designed to build confidence and connection at home.

What if we need to cancel or reschedule?

We require at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule. You may move your appointment within 90 days at no additional cost.

Cancellations or reschedules within 48 hours incur the full session fee. All sessions and bundles are non-refundable and must be completed within 6 months of the first appointment.

To reschedule, call +61 478 084 410 or email hello@bedrockclinic.com.au.

Do you offer online and in-person sessions?

Yes — sessions are available both online and in person, depending on availability.

You can select your preferred format during the booking process.

We already have a great relationship — what else could this teach us?

Fantastic.

Even thriving relationships benefit from curiosity and continued growth. Couples therapy can help you expand your erotic repertoire, refine communication, explore fantasies safely and deepen pleasure.

Whether you’re interested in enhancing orgasmic potential, learning more about anatomy, exploring new dynamics or simply strengthening intimacy, expert support can unlock unexpected insights.

Can I do EFT if I’m already in therapy?

Yes, absolutely. EFT often works beautifully alongside talk therapy. While talking helps you understand your experiences, EFT helps your body respond differently to them. Many people use EFT alongside therapy to feel calmer, less overwhelmed, and more grounded in daily life

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your life experiences and what you’re wanting support with. Some people notice small shifts after one session. For deeper or long-standing patterns, most people benefit from a series of sessions so things can unfold slowly and safely. As a general guide, 3–6 sessions allows time for trust, safety, and real change to build.

What if I’m afraid to feel my emotions?

That fear is incredibly common — and it’s exactly why this work exists.

Many people worry that if they let themselves feel, it will be too intense or they won’t be able to cope. We never rush into emotions. We move slowly and carefully, helping you learn that you can feel — without falling apart or being overwhelmed. The goal isn’t to flood you with emotion. It’s to help you feel a little more, safely, over time.

How do I book?

You can book in a one-off session or a package here.

How often should I book in a session?

This depends on your schedule and goals, but we usually recommend every 1-2 weeks.

Are you tapping on me or is there any touch involved?

You are tapping on the acupressure points across your own body.

I will often mirror you and during an initial consultation ensure you feel comfortable and familiar with their location across your upper body.

I'm curious but still really nervous! What if it's not right for me?

That's completely normal and understandable. Talking about your painful experiences and emotions can be really challenging. We will do everything we can to make you feel safe and comfortable, and we will go at whatever pace works for you.

If you have specific questions or concerns, feel free to get in touch with us, or book in a free 15 minute consultation before booking in a full session.

We always work at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.

What if I want to cancel or change my appointment?

No problem! If you can't make an appointment and need to reschedule we need at least 48 hours notice. You can rearrange a new time within the next 90 days from the date of the original session at no extra cost. Please note if you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours, the full session fee will apply.

Reschedules can be given over the phone or via email -phone us at +61 478 084 410 or email at hello@bedrockclinic.com.au

Please note all sessions (including bundles and course programs) are non-refundable, and we do not issue refunds if you change your mind.

You have 6 months to complete bundles from the date of the first appointment. If the 6 month time frame lapses, the remaining sessions are void and are also non-refundable.

Do you offer online / in person sessions?

Yes, all sessions can be done either online or in-person depending on availability.

You will be asked to select your preference on the booking page.

Who do you work with?

I already have great sex - what else could you teach me?

Fantastic! But sexual wellness is only one part of the work that we do.

We provide a carefully curated array of services, products and therapies, helping couples and individuals prioritise all aspects of their well-being. Personal, mental, physical, sexual and relational. Because it's all interconnected.

Plus, even great sex has room to grow. Curiosity and openness create new opportunities for pleasure. Explore our online store, events, and Pillow Play for inspiration.
